Landmark Lofts is an excellent example of an adaptive redevelopment of an urban in-fill site having once been the location of two older motels. The Landmark Lofts is a mixed-use transit oriented redevelopment project in the City of Boulder directly adjacent to the University of Colorado. It is comprised of 254 urban condominiums, with a retail component, and secure underground parking. When completed, the project will total 260,000 square feet of residential space and 15,000 square feet of retail.
The project is part of the Chanin Development vision of bringing people closer to urban centers where they work and recreate while spending less time driving. Project features include extensive open space, fitness centers, cyber-lounges, secure underground parking, bicycle parking, business center, and game rooms with very close proximity to public transportation and bike paths. When completed in 2012 the project will have a market value of $125,000,000.
