Chanin Development is in the initial phase of developing a new housing project on Nelson Road in Longmont, Colorado. The Longmont City Council recently approved a review that could pave the way for the development of over 100 new homes. This venture marks a significant step forward in providing high-quality, modern living spaces for the growing Longmont community.

Project Overview

Although still in development, our new residential project could potentially bring approximately 130 townhomes to Longmont. Early planning envisions that each townhome, or other type of dwelling, will be approximately 2,000 square feet and will feature:

  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 3 Bathrooms
  • 2-Car Garage
  • Potential Rooftop Decks

These homes will be designed with modern families in mind, offering spacious, comfortable living areas and high-end amenities.

Annexation Review Process

The Nelson Road project, which is undergoing the annexation review process, was highlighted in an article by the Longmont Times-Call. The Longmont City Council has recently approved the annexation review process.  The review process is a critical step in integrating the new development into the city, ensuring that it meets all regulatory and environmental standards. After approval at a scheduled neighborhood meeting on May 30, the proposal will be referred to the Longmont Planning and Zoning Commission, which would hold a public hearing and make a recommendation to the City Council.
